Hello, I hope I am asking the right place. I have an upcoming trip to Japan in late February and I've been looking for ryokan listings with private onsen for a while now but it's been difficult to find something what I'm looking for. The reason why I am asking for a private onsen is due to me being a solo female traveler, as well as my religious beliefs and my comfort reasons regarding entering an onsen. My visits to Japan will be Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, and I have day trips listed as well on my itinerary; I'm willing to spend a night in Fujikawaguchiko, or maybe Hakone (I haven't really decide where I should visit entirely, but I've been eyeing to do a go-kart tour around Mt. Fuji so I'm lenient to Fujikawaguchiko.) Of course, my preferences would be Kyoto but I realized private onsens—rather ryokans/onsens are not really a huge thing in Kyoto, which I've found quite surprising.
Anyway, please offer anything!!! I'm prepared to splurge up to $250 USD even just for a night.
