I'm (22m) wanting to live and eventually work in Japan. I'm going for my bachelor's in Environmental Science and am minoring in Japanese and separately have been studying Japanese on my own prior to Uni for 2 years. Currently I'm a Junior in school.
I'm trying to figure out what options I have available whether that be a Student Visa and studying abroad, or finding a Work Visa through a company, and what requirements would I need to even be able to get any of these visas! I know research positions are available but limited and especially require a PHD for most if not all of them, so if that's an option I have to take, I'll do it.
The end goal is ultimately to obtain permanent residence, but for now, I just want to see what I can do to work towards this if anyone has any advice
