Recently I’ve been applying to jobs in Japan and (hoping) to possibly land one in Kyoto. Outside of applying and working long work hours in the states, I’m studying Japanese and trying to gain other skill sets.
I understand Tokyo is a common first pick, but can anyone here share their stories about living in Kyoto? The pros, cons, taxes, social life etc. I only stayed for about month in Kyoto, but really enjoyed it. Just wanted some perspective, greatly appreciated!
