I need to know if anyone has had this experience before or has any advice for me because I'm scared.
Context: I have been searching for new jobs lately through Indeed among other websites and as annoying as it is, sometimes to apply to a job offer they send you to another website to fill up yet again your information and so I did that many many times.
This morning I received a very short call, which I did not pick up, from a number that when reverse searched was from a company named Randstad, a recruitment company I do not remember signing up for, mostly because I did not sign for recruitment companies at all.
I check my email next to see if there is any correspondence and there is. Weirdly enough I have an email received at the same exact time the call came in, from a Takumi Ononai saying the following:
Thank you for your continued support. This is the Randstad Talent Center. Thank you for applying for a job with En Haken.
Once you have read this
email, please call our dedicated contact number: 0120-990-811.
Now this En Ken was the page I needed to fill up to apply for another specific job. Until here it"s not off, at the same time I'm looking at the email they ring the door and a guy yells:
"マリちゃん、RANDSTADのたくみです!!"
At least 6 times. My name is Maria.
I obviously do not move, wait for it to pass and now Im terrified because everything is too weird, too much at the same time and him yelling my name with "chan" was extra weird.
I have his face from the ring camera and he was wearing a pink yukata with the lettering 新式会社SUNS (which google says it's a house reform company) on it. I'm confused and I'm not going out today until my husband comes home.
If anyone has any bit of information please help me figure out if my data has been stolen, if this is all a weird procedure or whatever is going on.
