Another resource gem found: Game Gengo Vocab Series

I tried looking if it wasn't posted already but any post about Game Gengo is like 5 years old now so hope it's ok to bring this up.

His Vocab Series Playlist is a goldmine for anybody that wants to transition to playing games and learning Japanese.

He goes through a game (different one in each video) and breaks down any vocab that appears on the screen along with translation, trivia and even grammar knowledge. But what's most remarkable here is the production value: everything is highlighted, definitions are provided for everything and in each video he lists exactly how much vocabulary you're going to learn and how it breaks down to JLPT levels and what's outside it's scope (spoiler: it's a lot).

To me the most useful thing are his explanations of how vocab and grammar fit together to form a sentence. Because numerous times I know every single word in a sentence but if it's told at native speed and with character voices along some music and action, I really can't understand anything. His explanations help me "parse" native language faster and get used to contractions, omissions and slang.

His content is English and explains every single word, so it's more suitable for beginners but I think even more advanced learners who want to venture into learning by gaming can benefit from watching this. He even keeps track of what vocab was already mentioned in this series and just glances over them if they come up again. It's truly gigantic amount of work with 61 videos 1h+ each and I think we should appreciate it more.
