N1 in 9 months??

I recently saw this reel with a guy saying he passed the N1 in 9 months with one "trick", and I have to say I'm just tired of people like this, constatly pushing this fake idea that you can become super fluent in a super short ammount of time with 0 studying. He has a post where he talks japanese, and he sounds pretty good (except some wierd prounounciation sometimes) but that makes me even more sure what he is saying is not true. I'm sure this guy has put in the time going through multiple textbooks/grammar resources, working through basic sol anime sentences etc, but they just want to push this image that they did it with no effort, perhaps they think it gives them more credibility/popularity? I can't really think why they keep doing this, knowing how many years it actually takes.

Also I don't know enough to tell if what he is saying about the N1 is true or not, if its such a hard test surely it shows that you have quite high ability unlike what he is saying? or is the test really unrealistic how he says?
