Just to be clear, I’m asking about software input methods, not the physical keyboard. e.g. on mac/Windows you can choose input sources like Japanese IME, US English, Canadian English, etc.
If they do I wonder how common it is… Do all Japanese desktop users consistently swap between layouts? Or do most just stick to Japanese? How would they type in URLs and stuff then? Or maybe there are workarounds? Not sure
