On a Japan WHV, been here for over 6 months and honestly not having a great time lately.
Haven’t found my people here. Job hours are bad, pay isn’t great, and I don’t like the work. I keep feeling like I haven’t used the WHV properly — I haven’t travelled much around Japan and I don’t feel very connected to things here, like the culture.
I’m feeling pretty lonely because of it. Not really sure what to do next.
If anyone else has been in a similar place on a WHV, I’d be interested to hear what helped or how things changed for you.
