Posting from an Alt account for privacy. I work in an experimental/start up part of a company with few team members. The TL;DR is I wanted to be in a lesser position for personal reasons but if I did that it would come with a salary cut, taking home about 7% less.
My main concern is how this would impact the PR application. I'm not changing companies, just responsibilities would be lessened a bit as would the pay.
My tax category would be the same. Any supplemental income I earn would largely be consistent.
I own land, have a family, pay on time, check most of the boxes. Will be consulting a lawyer as well…but I feel like their advice will be "avoid if you can".
