I have decided to try kanken for fun I am not aiming low (4). I have bought a few books and would like to ask a few things to my fellow kanken-ers.
1 – Did you build a strategy to study efficiently. For example for kanji with obvious readings there are false friends typically へき :璧 癖 but ひ 避 . Having like a list of such things would help greatly to assimilate the exception. I have the 付表 so it is more on exception another one 皮 被 彼 (ひ) but 破 (は)
2 – There are plenty of books (I am in Tokyo) but all of what i have seen are mostly exercises and not course or as said above building a strategy. Did i miss a good one ?
3 – Apps are very good to cram test, I am looking for a perfect one (I am ok to pay), I got one which is not bad but ads are so intrusive that I don't even want to give money to them (I am not even sure it would remove everything). Any advice ?
4 – What strategy for 四字熟語. I pretty much like them but remembering all of them seems impossible ! Is there any strategy or interesting resource ?
5 – There is a kanji list but is there an exhaustive vocabulary list ? (ouside 四字)
6 – Last but not least. The most difficult is without doubt writing. Ideally I would like a anki like app with only KK4 kanjis any good app doing that ? I don't want english translation or ressources (which sort out anki ressources mostly). On phone the writing recognition program are usually making too easy BTW. I am also practicing on paper but need a tool to generate questions.
Happy to share experience for people around my level (3/4 perhaps) and chat about the most pointless challenge in japanese learning !
