Hello everyone, I've doing a pretty extensive vacation in the foreseeable future. I will be arriving early march and staying till mid April.
This is my first time in Japan, as well as my first solo travel experience. It was quite demanding to plan the attractions and designated time.. To be honest, I may be over/underestimating how many hours/days I will need to complete this list. There will also be some lul times in cities after I finish my main excursion that I want to do, so feel free to give me any ideas and tips.
The big themes are: nature, city, social.
I do plan on getting the JR pass for 21 days to make traveling worth it.
Week 1
Day 1 Arrive in tokyo, take bus to osaka.
Days 2-3 Stay in Osaka, recoupe and check out the nightlife, shopping, and various food places.
Cup O noodle will be on my list of things. Capcom store, Dontobori, Korean district are aswell.
I honestly don't have much planned here other than exploring, so any suggestions are welcome
Day 4: Nara+ Kobe: Want to see Nara Park + Todaji.
After, take ride to Kobe to ride the ropeways and check out the gardens. Explore the city
Day 5-6 Kyoto: Arashiyama, philosopher path, Manga museum, Nintendo museum, and some shrines like Kinkaku-ji Kiyomizu, Inari. Sake festival and shrine festival too if I can catch it. I don't have many nightlife plans here, would be welcome.
Day 7 Nothing crazy, just small attractions and rest.

Week 2:
Day 1-2: Pick up JR pass, going to Gifu and or Takayama for 2 days. Don't know much, but want to definitely explore the cities. Advice is welcome.
Day 3: Go back to Kyoto for sumo, see candlelight concert at night.
Day 4: From there, go to Awaji island, see some anime stuff related themes, then check out this scarecrow village if I can in Miyoshi.
Day5: Kurashiki, Take some boat rides ! explore
Day 6-7: Hiroshima. Breweries, museums, and general checking out of the city. Have to check out Itsukushima Jinja

Week 3
Day 1 Go to Nagoto and see the Motonosumi Shrine.
Day 2: Hita village, see the museums and AOT related activities. Bike around and explore city
Day 3: Arrive in Nagasaki, go to Ikeshima island! Really don't know much else to do in Nagasaki, any tips would be good.
Rest of week 3 is pretty lax, I have a couple of days where I'm not really sure as to what I want to do.
Right now I have either exploring all of Kumamoto, going to Beppu to go relax in the onsens, or Takachiho gorge and that's it.
Personal recommendations would be great

Week 5- Tokyo then home.
This is still getting built and finalized till the day i go there. I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to plan tokyo, whether its follow a semi-loose schedule or just play it entirely by ear. I have some things I 100% want to do, but once again I'm open to recommendations.
What do you guys think, doable? Honest thoughts and opinions. Thanks yall
