You might be familiar with the Tower of the Sun in Osaka (see bonus last pic if you aren't), but did you know that you can get a tour of the interior if you book ahead of time? Unfortunately you can only take pictures of the lower level – the inside of the wings / arms looked really neat and I wish I could share them. The sculpture inside represents the evolutionary Tree of Life and has some cool retro animatronics as you head up to the top.
