Hey Redditors, I'm 32y/o, in Japan since April last year and currently studying in language school, and supposed to graduate in March this year. I have my Bachelor's Degree and N2 certification and have 5 years of work experience in Graphic Design in my home country.
So little bit of my background. Since i just took the N2 certification December last year. I began my 就活 really late started this January half. The school obviously offered to help and i am using few 転職agent as well. A month pass by and i failed my first interview. Then the school offered me do i want to continue until July in the school while looking for a job? because we are afraid we don't have enough time to look and i said i will think about it cause obviously i need to pay the tuition and the apartment as well. The other option is i go back to my home country. I'm from Southeast Asia btw.
Oh yeah the school said i can't apply for the Designated Activity Visa. I don't know the exact reason but i will ask again to make sure about this but the chance is low.
My question is: If you're in my position, which option would you take? I don't know how long usually it took to get a job here so what worries me if i do this 'overtime' would it be enough time to get a job?
Thanks in advance.
Edit: Adding I have Uni. Degree
