Hello everyone. I am about half a year into my 日本語 studies. I feel like I’m 60% of the way to cracking N5, but I still have a lot to go before I get there. While I’m currently focusing on vocabulary, reading speed, listening, and speaking, I’m also devoting time to writing practice and in depth grammar/verb conjugation rules. I know there is no “perfect” way to study, but I am curious if, at my level, I should be focusing on different verb forms and how to use them. Or should I just be learning the plain dictionary, “present/future” forms only for now? What are your thoughts as someone who is further along in the journey?
