Made a day trip to Shirakawa-go from Kanazawa this February. The entire village was covered in snow, and walking through it felt surreal. We explored slowly, stopped for matcha and local food, and spent time at the viewpoints. It’s one of those places that feels just as beautiful in person as it does in photos.
