Hi! I’m planning a trip to Okinawa this summer and I’m really looking forward to do some snorkeling and diving. I’ll be staying four days on Okinawa and three days on Zamami.
I’d really like to do some sort of diving tour as I am not very experienced and possibly get to see a whale shark. However, it is extremely important to me to find an ethical tour for just a few people and that gets you to see good snorkeling spots without disturbing the animals.
I absolutely do not want to do any tour in which they feed the sharks, keep them in those horrible nets, allow you to touch them or stuff like that. It’s totally fine even if I don’t end up seeing one. Also I’d like to avoid big boats with tons of people, but rather find a tour with a smaller boat.
Do you have any recommendations? Tours starting from both Okinawa or Kerama are ok.
