3 day weekend and supposed to be nice weather on Monday, will probably get some gardening done.
We finally get our hot water tomorrow. No more filling the sink up with a kettle so I can have a sponge bath. No more going to the in-law’s to shower. My routine will be back to normal!
Following my mother’s visit earlier in the month, our daughter is actually using English more regularly at home. I let her know I appreciate it when she tries to speak English to me so she’s been making a more consistent effort.
just loved watching figure skating this olympics. the japanese skaters in particular did an amazing job
I need this three day weekend. I’m probably going to be sick the entire time but whatever.

Quotes from moving companies at this time of year were stupid high, but I was able to get all my shit from my old place to my new place (crazy narrow entrance and staircase, they had to remove the entire door) cost me only 3万円 including furniture disassembly and reassembly. Big ups to サカイ
Home Assistant stuff is working out so far, neat to play around with.
Also playing around with self-hosting a few things, so far got Firefly-III and BookStack running, will try out more!
Will be part of a big project after all – I’m out of my league on this one but excited to learn something new about these kinds of intricate and complex projects.
