For me:
SMBC bank direct deposit forms.
Name validation requires:
My name in katakana, does not accept romaji even though it's registered.
My katakana name has a ャ in it – I have to change it to a big ヤ.
I have an ー (extension mark) in both my first and last name. It must be changed to a minus sign because apparently fuck half width ー.
Took me a good 30min – 1h to figure this all out the first couple times (2nd time cuz I was too lazy to write down my steps and copy the final string into my notes the first time).
Anyone else have stories that make them feel like they're hacking into a mainframe just to pay a bill?
