Question, was the length of the new runways agreed upon prior to this? Or did someone change their mind? I’m sure it’ll work out though
I will be shocked if Futenma closes in my lifetime. They’ve been working on this since, what, the 60’s?
The US is not a trustworthy partner (something made very clear especially in the last 10 years) – there will always be some new excuse for keeping it open.
