Moving to a new prefecture while waiting for a new residence card (student changing to work visa)

Hi everyone.

I'm currently under "student" status, and I will move to my new address on March 1.

However, to get the new residence card, I need my diploma/graduation certificate which will be issued on March 13.

I'm doing the 転出届 on My number portal as well, and there are options from March 2 until March 16 (since 14, 15 are weekend so they accept 16).

I think I am going to do the 転入届 before getting the new residence card, because I'd like to have my new address printed on the front of my new residence card, rather than having an old address then the new will be printed on the back.

Is it correct? Has anyone experienced this?
