Applying for job as Dependent Visa without Permission to Engage in Activity Outside of Visa Status?

Hello!

Apologies if this was already asked but all of the post I read regarding Dependent Visa to Work Visa has Permission to Engage in Activity Outside of Visa Status or wasnt mentioned at all.

I just want to ask if I am allowed to apply work and if hired and sponsored, change visa status to work visa without having to apply for Permission to Engage in Activity Outside of Visa Status?
