I honestly doubt anybody can provide any insight but if someone has been in this situation it would be tremendous help.
I'm a Spanish citizen with Dutch nationality and passport. My recent trip to Japan really opened my eyes and made me want to take the plunge and move to Japan for a year through this VISA….the problem is that requesting it through Spain requires me to be a spanish passport holder (which I am not, as the netherlands does not allow dual-passport) and requesting it through The Netherlands requires me to actually live in the Netherlands, which I don't.
My next best bet is to ask the consulate directly, but honestly, this information has really put me down and am wondering if anybody else has been in a similar situation.
