  1. Look- wrestling would be a dead industry without jobbers or like first hurdle/gatekeeping matches for new guys etc.

    It’s fine.

  2. Well.. they are losing all of the war dogs, TJP, Evil, etc… they are going to get these guys and ELP to push and build them into stars.. they are getting gutted right now again.

  3. Chase wrestled like 40 matches last year in New Japan and most in the World Tag League, I don’t understand why you guys give him any thought whatsoever.

  4. I never seen so many people upset that someone can get paid and feed themselves and their family. Chase contract isnโ€™t stopping anyone from getting signed

  5. Chase likes to pretend. I’ll just pretend he’s unemployed and ignore his matches.

EDIT: if you downvoted this, I’ll just pretend you’re cool with Chase pretending a girl was 18.

  6. Itโ€™s kinda funny how IWC talk shit about Chase Owens. Yeah, he sucks but heโ€™a relatively cheap and easy to hate what make him perfect for the pin eater/jobber role.

I remember 2018-2019 when people wanted him to win IWGP US title lol

  7. Eh, it’s fine. He’s a pin-eater and a decent one at that. The real problem is House of Torture’s nature as a cheaty heel stable that limits the potential of what its members can do. If he was the Barry Horowitz of New Japan without the unwarranted tag title reigns or interference victories, nobody would have the vitriol for the guy that the IWC does.

Chase Owens is a perfectly-adequate job guy. Hatred for him is just a meme. The real problem is the HoT in general and New Japan’s booking choices more pointedly.

  8. They should’ve kept chase in the bullet club as the last remaining member, completely oblivious to the fact that everyone else has left. He could lean into it playing a gimmick where he talks about having back up from the club, but nobody ever shows up to help him.

  9. Nothing can be said to be certain except taxes, death and Chase Owens being signed by NJPW
