After 1 year on WH Visa, I’m missing Japan and want to move there – but unsure what to do

Hey guys, I've lived in Japan on a working holiday visa from October 2024 to September 2025. I moved to Nagoya, got a job pretty quickly and stayed there until it was time to go back, made both international and Japanese friends. I'm now back in UK and it's depressing, same as it was before I went to Japan. Plan was to move back to Poland, but the war situation isn't getting any better and I'm not interested in getting called for army duty, however small the risk may be.

I've got a Comp Science bachelor's degree, however no experience or personal projects, all my experience is essentially warehouse jobs. I was thinking of going JET route – however, Poland only does CIR (my nationality is Polish), and can't really apply for British passport anymore due to exceeding their limits on stay in the country (and well, it's fucking £3k lol). I also DO NOT want to live in Tokyo/Osaka/Kyoto, around Nagoya is where I'd love to be, but I know there are WAY less opportunities there compared to the "big" 3. Wouldn't mind semi-rural either, as that's what I was visiting during my stay there, but obviously no jobs for foreigners there.

What are my options with a semi-decent pay? I mean, ¥300,000+? Japanese rn is about N4, I'm better at listening than talking, but well, all my vocabulary is from anime + work and I never did the JLPT. I know English Teaching is the easiest way, but the pay doesn't seem that appealing, and well, not 100% sure if it's for me.

Also, if I did move, I'd be importing my car (plan to never sell it as I'm emotionally attached to it), but it's probably a bit stupid, isn't itm Not from monetary view, but from the uncertainty of actually moving to Japan permamently (visa not renewed or whatever other reason). Did anyone move there in similar situation and still imported their car?

Do I just give up? Anyone went through the same thing? What did you do?

Sorry for the extremely long post! Just unsure on what to do with my life, am 24 but feel like I'm extremely behind in that regard.
