Leaving Japan but not sure how to deal with payment issues regarding credit card, utilities, etc.

So I accepted a job offer back in my home country thus planning to leave Japan around the end of March.

Since I need to leave ASAP I've already started on the departure process. Informed my apartment manager, gave notice to my current job, etc. I will be moving out mid-March.

My issue is my payment regarding utility bills, etc. I've already set up all payments to be made with with my credit card so the bills can still be paid when I'm gone. In addition, I had a huge purchase in December, which I have arranged to pay it off in installments. The last payment is slated to be in August.

My plan was to leave the country with my bank account left open. I'd leave enough money for the next two months or so. And I have set up TransferWise in a way that I can deposit funds abroad to keep up with the rest of the payment.

But when I consulted Yucho Bank about this, they told me that I can't leave without closing my bank account. And that if I permanently left the country and they are notified by immigration (was told they'd be informed once I hand over my residence card) then they will shut down my bank account. I told them that I still have payments that will be coming up but they told me that I'd have to deal with it before leaving the country.

So I called up my credit card company (Rakuten) and they said that I can try paying in advance for the next month, but for the big purchase that's done as an installment, they can't adjust it anymore as it's already set up that way. I don't have the immediate funds to pay it off anyway though. The same goes for utilities, most of them said they can't make me pay in advance.

So… I don't know what should I do. I still have about a year left in my residence card so supposedly would there be some penalty to leave the country without forfeiting my residence card and then come back within a year before my residency expires to do so after all payment issues have been settled?
