Hi everyone!
I am currently in the process of applying to Keio for their JLP program and wanted to apply for JASSO, but I just read that in the eligibility document, under "obligations", it says that upon their return, students must provide proof of transfer of credits taken at Keio to their home university (and provide a document explaining why if they don't).
I already know I will not be able to transfer all credits to my home university, and my period of study will be longer after I return. This is not a personal choice, but rather, the number of slots available for me to transfer credits from Japanese language courses into are limited in my program (I will probably only be able to transfer credits of 3 or so courses).
Has anyone experienced this? I am very afraid that if I apply for JASSO and get it, I will be made to pay it back upon my return if I'm unable to transfer all credits. Would the explanation that I am literally unable to transfer all credits due to my program suffice?
