Asking for a friend.
They’re currently a language school student and accepted a job offer. The application to change their residence status has already been submitted, and it’s been about a month.
Now a much better offer has come up.
How realistic is it to back out of the first company at this stage and switch the sponsoring company with immigration? Is that possible once the change of status is already in process?
Has anyone here been in a similar situation (or known someone who has)? Would appreciate any insight or experiences.
