Imagine if Japan decriminalized weed, and these folks are still behind bars or their careers still in shambles.
Like no seriously why the fuck is weed the thing that mellows you out illegal. While fucking booze is legal.
good it’s illegal but the punishment is clearly overkill, wouldn’t mind if drugs was banned worldwide, not anything I care enough about where it’s a core political issue, but allowing self-harm substances is not good for a society.
The irony is least up till I think the early 2000’s mushrooms were totally legal lol
This country has its head screwed on backwards. Anyway, keep puffing on your Mevius while drinking 500ml strong zeros and reading child porn manga in public, yes, carry on lads
This is so dangerous! Please give me all the evidence immediately. I need to study its effects thoroughly.
Magic Mushrooms used to be very legal in Japan.
I read stories that they used to pass the 9 hour work day in what felt like minutes.
You could order seeds, and they would come via airmail.
Remember buying shrooms in Amemura…then the World Cup soccer came in 2002 and they finally closed the loophole which was shiitake have trace amounts of psilocybin. Those were some epic days.
I’ve always said that if the work culture is going to stay as toxic and overwhelming as it is, people in Japan deserve drugs. 🤷♀️ Really sad that weed at least still hasn’t been legalized. No one’s life should be ruined over weed and mushrooms.
That’s actually a shitload for a casual user in Japan. Surprised he got a suspended sentence.
