Unverified NJPW “tag team names”

I just wanted to raise this, since I haven't seen a lot of proper discussion on the topic.

Over the past several months (possibly even a year), there's been a wave of New Japan teams getting seemingly unofficial tag team names.

These are names that, to my knowledge, haven't appeared on any official New Japan materials, haven't been mentioned on English or Japanese commentary, and haven't been even mentioned in social media posts by the wrestlers themselves.

I first noticed these on Wikipedia, but have since sen them appear in other wikis, fansites like CageMatch and The Smackdown Hotel, and even wrestling news websites.

I feel like very few people are even questioning these names ( u/EffingKenta is the only other person I've seen bring this up on a wider scale. I appreciate that.) and with the lack of sources, I've been trying to clean up wikipedia a bit. However, given how far some of these names have spread, I think this is something that needs to be given more attention.

These are the names I've seen

1. La Oscuridad (Douki & Sho)
   • This is the first one I noticed, and based on my investigation, it was edited into Wikipedia the day after Dominion last year by a random user on several pages.
2. Spiritech (Master Wato & Yoh)
3. Super Extremes (Taiji Ishimori & Robbie X)
4. Roughstorm (Shota Umino & Yuya Uemura)

If there are others, please mention them in the comments as well.

Please let me know if any of these names have a proper origin. I will edit and update this post with other names people have seen, or remove any that do have some basis. However, to my knowledge, these ones have no such basis, and if so, I would like to ask people to stop using them like they are official names.
