I need help sitting on the floor to eat

I’ve never been very flexible, and coming from the US I’m not used to sitting on the floor. Sitting criss cross always puts my feet to sleep and I can barely put my legs straight in front of me. Typically seiza is the most comfortable way for me to sit at a floor table. Do any of yall have recommendations for stretches that can help me sit down with other people?
