I’ve been thinking about it recently and I can’t decide if Oiwa or Uemura is a better rival for yuto ice. The KOB vs heat storm was what really established KOB as a tag team. The rivalry of ice and yuya specifically felt very real, especially with the background of yuya injuring the elbow of ice in ices first match.
On the other hand we have ice vs ryohei oiwa, a rivalry that had much less fanfare. Their first interaction was during WTL, with the flashy ice calling oiwas style of wrestling “salaryman” style. Their first match was pretty good, but the rivalry exploded with their new years dash match. I can’t decide which wrestler is a better generational rival for ice.
