I’m about to upgrade my iPhone XR to a 17e and am curious if anyone on docomo has had an issues doing the transfer themselves.
I’d like to buy the phone on the Apple Store and avoid going in to a docomo shop (saving me 25000Y) but I’d hate to buy it and realize I missed an important detail. I’ll be calling docomo to confirm the upgrade process later but I’m assuming I just need to convert my XR’s SIM to an eSim and then transfer it once I get the 17e.
I heard some had bad experiences with the eSim switch on docomo when the 17 came out so I’d love to hear from anyone with experience or things to watch out for when doing the switch yourself.
