Hello everyone!
I live in the Saitama region and i'm planning on getting a Japanese driver's license soon.
I will be taking it via the 免許切替 route (Indonesian driving license).
I would love to hear everyone's Experience / Tips on taking the driving test.
If i'm not mistaken, the process seems to go like this
Book for document screening > wait > document screening > wait > knowledge test > if pass, wait > Skill test > if pass get license
Due to the new driving test regulation implemented in late 2025, there seems to be a few difficulty jumps here and there.
Additionally the wait time between processes seems to have been extended to an ungodly amount.
I would love to know if there is anyone who took the test post regulation change and what their experience is like.
