TJPW Returning to the U.S. – One of Japan’s Leading Women’s Pro Wrestling Companies Coming to Texas

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share something exciting for those interested in a unique piece of Japanese fun!

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling (TJPW), one of Japan’s most prominent and well-established all-women professional wrestling promotions, is returning to the United States for a Texas tour (Houston, Dallas, and Austin — with Austin being an Official SXSW event).

TJPW had their first standalone U.S. tour presentation last year, and we are proud to be bringing them back once again.

While TJPW has appeared internationally before, this tour represents a full solo presentation; with 18 wrestlers and staff traveling directly from Japan to perform a complete touring card, not just a partial showcase or crossover appearance.

Seeing a full Japanese roster presented abroad offers international audiences a deeper understanding of what makes Japanese pro wrestling unique. It's one of the only countries where female pro wrestling may even surpass male pro wrestling in terms of popularity!
