While reading a visual novel I came across 骨張る, which I didn’t know, so I looked it up on Takoboto. The English definitions don’t match the Japanese ones. The ones in English refer to “anatomy” and the ones in Japanese refer to “personality”. Somehow the word in the VN’s sentence alludes to both…

The sentence that it appears in is this one:

So, is 骨張る both meanings at the same time? Can it be one or the other? How do you interpret this?
