Ritalin, is it legal??

I take Ritalin (METHYLPHENIDATE
HYDROCHLORIDE) and don’t know if it’s legal or not.

I’ve looked everywhere online, even called multiple branches of the Japanese embassy but can’t find out! Does anyone know? I’ve been on the same “is this drug your taking illegal” part of the medical self report all day!
