Hello, I'm 17 years old, brasilian and looking to get a degree before moving to Japan to find a job there. I have Japanese ancestry, so visa is not a problem. My dream degree is in English Literature, but I don't hear many good things about it, so I'm hesitant. I speak English well and intend to improve it and take a proficiency test. I lived in Japan for 6 years and I'm almost fluent too. I wouldn't mind being a teacher in Japan, but my dream job would be something related to translation.
With a degree in literature, C1 or C2 level English, and near-fluent Japanese, do you think it would be possible to find stable work in Japan related to this field?
