Hi all. I’m going back to Japan this April and have booked a bike tour around Mt Fuji that starts at 10 am. We’re supposed to meet our tour guide in Fujisan station around 9:45. Last time I went I booked the Fuji excursion train from Shinjuku and had no problem getting there on time. This time, however, all the excursion trains in the morning were booked up even though I checked on the day it opened up! So I had to book the highway express bus that’s scheduled to leave Shinjuku at 7:15 and estimated to get there by 9:05. I’m just a bit nervous because I was told there could be traffic. Do you all think estimated 9:05 arrival time gives us a good buffer for traffic delays? Traffic was not a concern when we booked the train last time.
