Visiting Japan with parents in their 60’s (long hikes won’t be an option due to knee issues).
We’ve been to Yamagata and surrounding but my parents have not been to Japan.
We want somewhere that is a good base (thinking Kyoto or similar). We want to see the beautiful architecture and also experience the countryside and nature scenery as well. Where would be a good base and also what are some good itinerary suggestions? Thanks!
