Early Feb, Shinagawa immigration asked for a document from me (final order from my previous divorce). I submitted it the next day via mail, it arrived two days later. I went in person three weeks later just to confirm they'd received it and they had, and the application is still under review at that time.
Today is five weeks since they received it. I'm dying here. Originally applied for a change of status from student to spouse of Japanese national in October of last year.
Job offer on the table waiting for three months. Baby on the way. I'm really feeling like crawling into a hole.
Am I being paranoid that this is taking way too long or is it just Shinagawa?
