Finally quit my soul sucking job this year in Tokyo and taking a year off before WW3 kicks off. Before the weather gets hot I plan to do some multi day hikes such as Kurobe Alpine Route and the Kumano Kodo. If I can, also bike part of Shimanami Kaido.
Summer I will rent a car and road trip around Hokkaido to get tf out of Tokyo in summer.
If you have had some great experiences with a multi or one day hike anywhere in Japan, please drop the details below!! Whether it invokes cabins, camping, glamping or a hidden 5 star deal in the mountains Im interested. This is my one year off before I retire (which won’t be for 30 years) so I want to make the most of it. Even if you run a business adjacent to this sort of thing I would be interested to know about it as I am not against linking up with managed hikes or activities along the way.
