  1. Good. Japan has no place getting involved in wars brought by pedophile presidents.

  2. Awesome

Let the orange clown clear up his own mess. No need for us to get involved, leave America to clean up after themselves . Let their sons and daughters do the dying.

  3. Won’t defend the Japanese economy but will definitely defend taiwan.

  4. Trump about to learn that politicians in Japan have at least half a year of lead time before anything happens.

  5. Unfortunately for Mr. Trump, over the past year he has proven himself to be completely unreliable and untrustworthy. You could bend over backwards to appease him today, and next week he might call you cowards or traitors and impose an arbitrary tariff on all of your exports.

  6. In her US visit in the coming days, it’s reasonable to expect her to offer something that pleases Trump. If it’s not the military ships, I wonder what that is.

  7. This is the right move, although I hope legality isn’t all that she’s concerned about.

  8. Good. People are insulted by Trump and are appalled he’s asking all this for probably nothing in return

  9. I do dread the day that they decide to throw out Article 9 completely. But they were never going to do it for *this*.

  10. For Japan, Article 9 of the Constitution is a barrier. At the moment, the Constitution prevents us from getting involved in areas with a risk of war.

  11. This is the only thing she has done right so far as a human being. She has already ruined relationships with China and the Middle East, including Palestine, and the former politicians and bureaucrats had built up, though.

  12. That is one of the few good moves that she has made so far. Just let it still be only a conflict between the U.S. and Iran, not a regional conflict involving multiple allies. I think Japan will react to anything concerning the article 9 only if China or North Korea decide to do something around.
