I’m traveling to Japan in October with my girlfriend and have planned for 2 days in Hakone halfway through our 2 week trip. We’re planning the first day to purely relax at an onsen hotel and get massages etc… Then the next day do the ultimate Hakone tour at Fun 2 Drive. I heard a podcaster (Garrett from Grinding Gear) say the Ryokan in Hakone was great. I’ve been browsing around and see some for over $1,000 USD a night and others for as low as $100 per night. Any suggestions or comments would be great.
