Hi, I will be leaving Japan in a couple of weeks. I currently have Docomo ahamo and as far as I understand I can terminate it online. However, I intend to make the balance payment of this month through the Japanese bank card and if so, I would have to do it before I close my bank account. But I would like to have the connection until the day I leave.
The wifi company allows this by forward dating the cancellation (i.e., I pay the balance in advance as they bill for the month and would terminate the service on an assigned date in the future). Is there any possibility to do this with Docomo Ahamo too?
Furthermore, in case the online cancellation fail, I would have to visit a docomo shop and obviously it would have to be atleast a couple of days before the leaving date. So being able to forward date the cancellation makes even more sense…
