Hey crowd, I am planning for my PhD at Univ of Tokyo in Electrical/Electronics Engineering field.
I have my bachelors done couple of years back and very limited amount of industrial exp and now into research exp with an univ in my country. I am kind of searching for Universities in Asia mostly, with good reputations and labs to do my direct PhD. The problem is financial stability there if PhD [full PhD/ integrated MS+PhD] is something I want to start with. What are the chances that I would get any fully funded scholarships or something that would fund me for tuitions, living, misc expenses to save?
Somewhere I heard they have some exams too for this particular thing? Would that help with financial stability? I aint sure but love to hear more about it!
My profile is like: I got no good publications but just National level. Trying for an international level journal conf. pub yet. Got a decent score in the Bachelors more than 80%.
It would be really helpful if you guys could give me some suggestions and tips on application, where to start, how to approach the professor for getting a spot and fundings clearances, etc. Any leads, I'd be glad to connect and discuss more! Thanks in Advance.
