Looking for divorce lawyers in Osaka – need serious advice

Hi everyone,

I’m seeking advice or recommendations for lawyers in the Osaka area experienced with divorce cases.

So far, the lawyers I’ve consulted have been quite hesitant and seemed to suggest that men need to “endure” situations, even in cases of domestic issues, and that there’s little that can be done. My case is likely less severe than others, but my current marriage has become extremely toxic and leaves me no space to breathe.

Serious communication with my wife is impossible. Conversations inevitably turn into blame-shifting, glorification of violence as a form of discipline, and dismissive or disillusioned behavior. Despite nearly daily arguments, she continues to want more children.

I see no future in this marriage, and she refuses to agree to a divorce, primarily benefiting financially from our current arrangement (she receives 100% of my income) and wanting more children. I’ve discussed divorce with her multiple times, but she just laughs it off.

I would really appreciate any recommendations for a lawyer who would take my situation seriously. I’m starting to feel trapped and need professional guidance on how to proceed.
