Hello everyone, I live in Japan but I’m posting this on behalf of someone else.
My friend is currently working at a company on a Technical Trainee Visa and has recently renewed their visa for one year (3号). However they have now decided that they want to enroll in a Japanese university and need to convert their visa to a student visa. They are now asking what would be the best option to do this, return to their home country (Philippines) and apply for a student visa there or just apply in Japan for a student visa before the current visa expires?
