Hi everyone, I’m currently waiting for the result of my PR application and just received a request for additional documents regarding my employment history.
I applied through the points-based system, which requires 10 years of work experience. I meet the requirement overall, but about 1.5 years of that was freelance work (working directly with clients under my own name, no registered company).
When I submitted my application, I didn’t clearly explain this period, so Immigration has now asked me to provide proof.
The challenge is that this was almost 10 years ago, and I no longer have complete records. I worked with multiple clients during that time, but I’m not sure what kind of documents would be considered acceptable.
Has anyone dealt with a similar situation?
What kind of evidence did you provide for freelance work, especially from many years ago?
Any advice would be really appreciated. Thank you!
