I’m moving here at the end of April . Is Yomitan a good place to live ?

Hello ,

My wife and I are moving here April 30 . We are going to find an apartment in Yomitan . I love hikes, biking ,good food, beaches , sunsets,snorkeling, swimming , etc . Is Yomitan the place to be ? I’m going to be working at Kadena AB . So I can’t live crazy far from base , but I don’t mind living a bit from it . Just need to make I’m choosing the right area for my activities. Any advice is helpful thank you !

  2. Hiking is sort of meh in Okinawa. But there are some decent beaches in Yomitan including the one on Torii Station.

  3. Yomitan is great. I prefer it over the areas closer to Kadena. Just a quieter vibe/area.
