I'm about to move Japan from the US soon, expected to be here for a least a couple years. Wife is already in the country.
The apartment we just signed does not come with fridge and washer. What are the brands or specific lines I should be looking into, and what are the ones I should be avoiding? Looking for something that'll last at least 5 years, maybe a good decade plus.
Also, what's a good washer capacity for two people? No kids or pets, but I am on the bigger side, both height and weight. Washer and dryers in the US have their capacities by volume. I frankly have no idea how to translate that into weight…. (what even are the densities of dark color jeans, boxers, and button up shirts 🫣?)
